Dev onboarding Workflows
Use Cortex Workflows to automate and standardize developer onboarding by creating a multi-step process that handles all necessary tasks for new engineers. Onboarding Workflows reduce manual effort, eliminate inconsistencies, and accelerate time-to-productivity for new team members.
Examples of actions you can take in onboarding Workflows include:
Collect new hire information via a User Input block
Automate account and access provisioning by triggering HTTP requests to create GitHub organization invitations, IAM users in AWS, PagerDuty users, and more
These actions can use the information collected via a User input block. For example, if a user enters their GitHub username, the HTTP request can create the organization invitation.
Send a welcome message to the new developer via Slack or Microsoft Teams when onboarding is complete
