# Eng Intelligence: Trace

Use this operation to query individual event records from the engineering data sources behind [Eng Intelligence](/improve/eng-intelligence/eng-intelligence). You can filter, sort, and paginate the results.

### Required permissions

Your API key must have the `View Dev Metrics` permission.
